Adam Newman is a Managing Partner at Burney Wealth Management. Adam is responsible for overseeing the ongoing management of client financial plans, annual financial planning updates, and investment portfolio reviews. His expertise is in comprehensive financial planning, retirement income planning, tax planning, and investment policy development. Adam graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Applied Economics and also received a Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. He is a CFA Charterholder as well as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner.
In 2025, Adam completed his Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation to help business owners align their personal, financial, and business goals to maximize enterprise value and readiness for transition. Outside of the office, Adam and his wife Emily are busy parents to two young daughters (Delaney and Layla) and enjoy getting outside to explore all that Nashville has to offer.
Bijal has over 25 years of leadership experience and an interest in the markets and wealth creation that stem from buying his first stock at the age of 14. Today, he works with clients and contributes to our investment and wealth management strategies. He also leads and mentors other staff members, which has contributed to Burney Company being recognized as one of CNBC’s Top 100 Financial Advisors.
Bijal resides in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife Jinu, two children, and two foster children. When he’s not in the office or traveling to visit clients, Bijal enjoys working in the garden and tackling small projects around the house. He is also an avid bowler, mentor to at-risk teenagers, and volunteers at after-school programs at several Richmond-area high schools.
Andy Pratt, CFA, CAIA, is a Partner and the Director of Investment Strategy at Burney Wealth Management. He started with Burney in 2012 and has done virtually every job there is to do at Burney. Currently, he is a Portfolio Manager on our ETFs and oversees our investment strategies while also working directly with clients as their Advisor. He enjoys the challenge of blending Burney’s long-standing investment process with new ideas and technology. Andy graduated from Virginia Tech with degrees in Economics and Psychology. He is a CFA Charterholder, earning his Charter in 2017, as well as a CAIA Charterholder, an alternative investments designation earned in 2020. Andy lives in Cascades, VA, with his wife and three kids.
Outside of work, he stays busy coaching the kids' sports and is an avid DC sports fan. He prefers to stay active throughout the year, whether that is snowboarding in the winter, wake surfing in the summer, or adult recreational sports.
Yevgeniy is a Senior Partner and the Director of Operations. He began his career with Burney Company in 2000 as an Equity Analyst after graduating from American University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. In 2004, he earned a PhD in Economics from Kuban State University in Krasnodar, Russia, and then transitioned to Portfolio Management as Head of Operations and Trading. In 2009, he became a Portfolio Manager.
Hobbies & Interests
Spending time outdoors with his wife, Brittany, their son, Brooks, and their Labrador, Lyla. Supports the Tennessee Titans and Volunteers, and enjoys exploring Nashville’s food scene.
Joel is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Burney Wealth Management. He has spent the majority of his career with the firm, joining in 2016 as a Research Analyst in the firm’s analytical group before moving into his Portfolio Manager role in 2019. Joel is a Portfolio Manager on our ETFs and investment strategies and manages the trading of client portfolios. Joel also works directly with clients as their Advisor, as well as collaborates with our other Advisors to support them on various client situations.
He enjoys being a part of running and implementing our firm’s investment strategies while also marrying sound financial advice with personalized support to help guide clients on the path to achieving their goals. Joel earned his CFA and CAIA charters in 2020. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics, George Mason University with an M.A. in Economics, and holds the Series 65 license. Joel is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington, DC. He is an avid skier and also enjoys playing golf, watching North Carolina sports and the Yankees, and spending time with his wife, son, and their two dogs.

Rhonda Collins joined Burney Wealth Management in 2023 to help support advisors in tax planning conversations with clients. With over 25 years of industry experience, Rhonda is a licensed CPA in four states, has her EA certification, and is an NTPI Fellow®. Originally from Ohio, Rhonda graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, where she earned her bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in business administration. Currently residing in Florida, she shares her home with her three beloved "fur children," Olivia, Ariel, and Marco.
Brenna joined Burney Wealth Management in 2018 and serves as the Director of Client Experience. In her role, she focuses on creating and maintaining a seamless, personalized experience for every client. Brenna is passionate about designing and refining processes that enhance the way the firm serves and supports its clients.
Brenna earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from George Mason University and her Master’s in Financial Planning. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, Brenna enjoys spending time with her husband and their English Springer Spaniel, relaxing at Deep Creek Lake, and staying connected to her lifelong passion for dance by following collegiate dance competitions.
Robbie joined Burney Wealth Management in 2019 and serves as an Investment Advisor. Over the years, he has worn many hats within the firm, gaining a deep appreciation for how each part of the business works together to serve clients effectively. This broad experience has shaped his thoughtful, hands-on approach to financial planning and investment management.
With CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designations, Robbie is passionate about connecting with clients to understand their goals and guide them through financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He takes pride in helping clients align their wealth with what matters most to them.
Outside the office, Robbie enjoys spending time with his wife, Martha, and their two dogs, Duncan and Goose. Depending on the season, you’ll find him wake surfing, snowboarding, or playing Ultimate Frisbee — but year-round, he’s happiest outdoors.
Brian Quantrille is a Wealth Advisor on our team. In his role, he partners directly with clients to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans designed to help them achieve their goals. Brian joined Burney Wealth Management in 2021, after earning his BS in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from Virginia Tech. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. Brian lives in Arlington, Virginia, and in his free time enjoys spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and cheering on his hometown Boston teams from afar.
Hannah is an Associate Investment Advisor at Burney Wealth Management. She began her career with the Burney Company as an intern in 2018 and joined the analytical group full-time in 2021. In early 2025, she transitioned to her current role, where she works closely with clients, striving to be a calm and steady presence during times of market uncertainty.
Hannah graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a B.S. in Business Information Technology with a concentration in Computer Decision Systems. She is a CFA Level III Candidate and will be sitting for the exam in January 2026.
Hannah lives in Leesburg with her husband and enjoys spending her free time outdoors—whether it’s walking, running, or biking around downtown Leesburg.
Nathan is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Burney Wealth Management. In his role, Nathan supports the advisory team by assisting with financial planning, client analysis, and meeting preparation, while contributing to the growth of Burney’s Nashville office. A licensed Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Nathan previously worked in public accounting across both audit and tax, where he gained experience analyzing financial statements, understanding business operations, and navigating individual and business tax filings.
He earned his Master’s in Accounting from UNC Charlotte and his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Nathan now lives in the Nashville area with his wife, daughter, and dog.

Nathan enjoys fitness, golf, exploring the local food scene, and spending time outdoors with his family in the Nashville area. He’s also an avid Carolina Panthers and Clemson football fan and is active in his local church.
Dylan is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Burney Wealth Management working out of the Nashville office. Dylan works alongside other advisors to ensure client financial goals and objectives are met through dedicated financial planning. Dylan leads client engagements with a servant leader mindset and always prioritizes putting the client first. Dylan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and holds an EA certification which emphasizes a specialty in tax.
Dylan graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in both Financial Planning and Financial Markets, in which he served as a Student Director and co-managed the Bulldog Fund. Prior to working at Burney Wealth Management, Dylan gained industry experience by working closely with corporate executives and their families at an RIA based in Minnesota.
In his free time, you can find Dylan out on the golf course, exercising in the gym, spending time with family and friends, attending church, and enjoying sporting events or local restaurants. Dylan enjoys learning new things, exploring the world through travel, and especially loves boating on the lake.

In his role, he supports our Portfolio Management team, specializing in trading, reporting, securities analysis, and client account management. He graduated in 2022 from James Madison University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in Computer Information Systems. AJ is an active member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Washington, DC.
Bridjett has over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is the first point of contact for clients and serves as a liaison between them and their advisors. She also prepares and assists clients with a myriad of custodian account forms, including portfolio management, trading, and portfolio reconciliation, and is currently preparing for the Series 65 license examination.
Erin joined the Burney Company in 2023 as a member of our client service team. As a Client Service Associate, she serves as a liaison between clients and our advisors, ensuring that each client receives attentive support and a seamless experience. Erin takes pride in building strong, positive relationships and providing clear communication to help clients feel confident and cared for when working with them.
Erin graduated from James Madison University in 2021 and has called Northern Virginia home for her entire life. She has earned her FPQP® (Financial Paraplanner Qualified ProfessionalSM) designation and is currently studying for her CFP® certification.
Cameron joined the Burney Company in 2025 after graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Finance. As a Client Service Associate, he serves as a key connection between clients and their advisors, always focused on putting the clients’ needs first. Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Cameron moved to Fairfax after college to start this exciting new chapter.

She also works with charitably-minded clients on qualified charitable distributions, manages customized equity portfolios, and designs tailored financial plans. Sherrie and her husband, Mike, have two wonderful children. She lives in Watkinsville, Georgia, and enjoys waterfall hikes, watching UGA sporting events, reading, and staying active in her church.
Anne Arden is an Information Technology Specialist, supporting the firm’s technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations across platforms. She joined Burney Company in July 2023 as a Client Service Associate before transitioning to the Burney Analytical Group in 2025. Anne Arden leverages her background in client service and financial software to improve system efficiency and enhance the digital experience for both clients and advisors.
Anne Arden is originally from Jacksonville, FL, and moved to Arlington, VA in August 2022 with her husband. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Innovation, and currently holds the Series 65 license.
Fariba joined Burney in 1989 and concentrates on daily trading and management of investment accounts. She has a dual language proficiency (in English and Farsi). Fariba Lives in Reston, Virginia, with her son. In her spare time, she likes to dance, paint, travel and master her love for the Spanish language.

Alex joined Burney Company in 2012 and is responsible for our proprietary models, analyzing portfolio performances, and researching and preparing studies on macro trends. She is a quant by training and has a wide range of experience in the financial services industry, including analytical positions with Georgina Asset Management, the Virginia College Savings Plan, and the Virginia Resources Authority’s Bond Issuing Program. Alex is working toward her PhD in Economics from Virginia Tech, and she is the co-founder of a non-profit organization that advocates for children from immigrant families and offers free music lessons to economically disadvantaged kids in her community.
Martin joined Burney Company in 1992 and has over a decade of experience implementing Burney’s proprietary models and is a member of the Technology Committee, overseeing the IT infrastructure.
